Social Identity and Widening Participation
The Social Identity and Widening Participation interest group is a monthly online meeting for researchers interested in issues related to educational access, inclusion, identity, belonging, diversity in student populations, disadvantage, intersectionality and the impacts on student wellbeing, social connections and academic outcomes. The majority of participants are working in the social identity tradition, but we are an inclusive bunch. The meetings are held at a time manageable in Australasian and European/UK timezones and have a rotating schedule of member presentations, open discussion, article readings and invited speakers.
